Derby Wood Wins GOOD DESIGN Awards

Impatia is proud to announce that the Derby Wood Foosball table designed by architect Gregg Brodarick and product designer Lucia Guazzi has won the prestigious GOOD DESIGN AWARD.

Presented by the Chicago Athenaeum, the GOOD DESIGN Awards is one of the world’s oldest and most recognized programs for design excellence. Selected amongst some of the best innovative and cutting-edge products, the Derby Wood has been recognized in the Sports-Recreation category.

To celebrate this win, the Derby Wood will be showcased at the GOOD DESIGN SHOW at the European Centre in Athens, Greece from March 31 – May 7, 2023.

The creative lab and showroom inaugurated during milan design week 2016.

A fascinating factory from the early 1900s is the location of the Impatia’s creative lab, where ideas take shape, where projects become prototypes and then products. It’s an authentic design factory, a meeting point for architects, designers and skilful artisans.

Normally used as showroom by appointment only, it exceptionally opened its doors to the public during Milan Design Week. Unootto, Filotto and Lungolinea all aligned welcome, enchant and amaze visitors.
