A Curated Experience of Design and Art at Salone del Mobile

The 2025 edition of Salone del Mobile is set to be an extraordinary event, enriched with cultural appointments and site-specific installations that explore the essence of contemporary design. This year’s focus on innovation and craftsmanship extends beyond furniture, embracing an interdisciplinary approach that blurs the lines between art, architecture, and storytelling.

Among the standout features of the event is the Biennale Euroluce, presenting the inaugural Euroluce International Lighting Forum on April 10-11, where renowned lighting designers, architects, and creatives will discuss the future of illumination. Additionally, this year’s redesigned fair layout, with an optimized loop pathway, enhances the visitor experience by providing seamless access to exhibitors and their curated showcases.


A Luxury Way: Celebrating Timeless Italian Design

As part of the “A Luxury Way” pavilion, IMPATIA will be featured alongside some of the most exceptional brands redefining the concept of exclusivity and craftsmanship. Within this space, internationally acclaimed Pierre-Yves Rochon presents Villa Héritage, an immersive installation that embodies the delicate balance between heritage and modernity. Recognized for his visionary approach to luxury interiors, Rochon has designed some of the most prestigious spaces in the world, from Four Seasons and Ritz hotels to Michelin-starred restaurants. His installation for Salone del Mobile reinterprets the timeless language of interiors through a modern lens, creating a sensory experience that invites visitors to reflect on the dialogue between the past and the future.

Being part of this prestigious pavilion allows IMPATIA to showcase its unique approach to design, where the world of gaming meets the highest level of Italian craftsmanship. Our presence at A Luxury Way is a testament to our commitment to creating design objects that transcend function, transforming leisure into a refined experience that embodies elegance, creativity, and innovation.


A Fusion of Cinema, Art, and Design

Salone del Mobile has always been more than just a design fair—it is a cultural landmark where different creative disciplines intersect. This year’s edition continues this tradition with remarkable artistic installations that redefine the boundaries of design:Paolo Sorrentino, the Oscar-winning filmmaker, debuts La dolce attesa, an evocative installation exploring the anticipation between present and future, a poetic reflection on time, destiny, and longing. Designed in collaboration with Margherita Palli, the space is envisioned as a metaphorical journey through uncertainty and possibility, offering a contemplative experience that is both intimate and universal.

Following last year’s “Interiors. A Thinking Room” by David Lynch, which left a profound impact on visitors, Robert Wilson presents Mother—a breathtaking light and sound installation dedicated to Michelangelo’s Pietà Rondanini at the Castello Sforzesco. Featuring music by Arvo Pärt, Wilson’s piece creates a dramatic dialogue between light, space, and the unfinished masterpiece, offering a deeply emotional encounter with one of Milan’s most iconic artworks.

These artistic interventions add a new dimension to Salone del Mobile, transforming the fair into an immersive journey through design, art, and storytelling.
